The club was originally started in 2002 by Mr Garry Bradford (6th degree). Mr Bradford started Taekwon-Do in 1993, and trained under Senior Master Victor Leighton (8th Degree) of the International Taekwon-Do organisation. Mr Bradford has previously started a successful club in Connah’s Quay, and then started Littleover Taekwon-Do when he moved to the area late 2001. Mr Bradford has been a grading examiner for a number of years and has also refereed in national competitions, having being trained in ITF competition rules.

Mr Cameron began his Taekwon-Do journey in 2003, training under Mr Garry Bradford at Littleover Taekwon-Do in Derby. Achieving his 1st Degree Black Belt in 2008, he went on to begin instructing at the club the following year — a role that has been central to his martial arts life ever since. Mr Cameron continued to develop both as a practitioner and a leader, earning his 2nd Degree in 2011 and his 3rd Degree in 2014.

In 2017, he took on the role of Lead Instructor at Littleover Taekwon-Do, bringing with him over a decade of experience on and off the mat. Away from the club, Mr Cameron is an active supporter of the wider Taekwon-Do community, having qualified as an Umpire in 2020 and regularly providing official support at competitions. In 2022, Mr Cameron was awarded his 4th Degree Black Belt, reflecting twenty years of dedication to the art of Taekwon-Do.

Instructors have indemnity insurance and are DBS checked (formally known as CRB check).

Jenny Cameron started training 2013 and obtained 1st degree black belt in 2022 and 2nd degree black belt in September 2024. (Miss Cameron is now at university so is only with us outside term time).
