In Tae Kwon Do we have different types of sparring, namely:
- 3 step
- 3 step semi-free
- 2 step
- 1 step
- 1 step advanced
- free spar
For 3 step and 2 step in particular the sequence of attacking and defensive moves is pre-arranged, much like in patterns. Below are links to theory sheets that explain the attacking and defending moves for 3 and 2 step sparring.
