Website and social media

Hello to all LTKD students and parents/carers of students.

In order to improve communication between LTKD and our students, we now have a Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/littleovertkd/

And a Twitter account:

@LittleoverTKD / https://twitter.com/LittleoverTkd

This website (https://www.littleovertkd.co.uk) will still be the primary source, but as updates are posted here they will also be posted on Facebook and Twitter.

I hope these additional methods of communication will be helpful in keeping up to date.

Club Notice (July 2018)

Hello,

Littleover Taekwon-Do club is a not for profit club, but of course needs to be self funding. The fees we charge have remained unchanged for some years but now the time has come to revise them.

From September the main revisions are as follows:

The cost for Monday night has increased from £3 to £4 per student. Family pricing options are still available.

Black Belt / Senior belt session increases from £3 to £5 per student. (The extra is to compensate for the smaller class size).

A full list of our fees is contained here.

Any questions, please get in touch.

Thank you

Jamie

Attention 1st kup students

To all 1st Kup (“Black tag”) students.

Black belt grading is rapidly approaching! I don’t have a date yet, but October or early November is likely.

There are only a few remaining black belt training sessions scheduled in before then. See this post. Potentially only 6, maybe 7, more sessions. I’m considering extending the Black Belt sessions to two hours (5:30 to 7:30) to get some extra practice in. Please let me know if this causes problems for anyone.

Get learning your theory! There is a lot to revise. You may find it helpful to look at the “senior theory” on the theory page. You can ignore the extra three pattern interpretations but you will need to know pretty much everything else.

Katie and I will need to decide in September who to put forward. If you can, I suggest you see if you can take advantage of extra training elsewhere, in particular during the school summer holidays. Look at this page for options.

Any questions, please ask.

Jamie
